The prices of products and services of personal consumption, measured by the consumer price index, in March, compared to February, were on average 0,7 percent lower, Monstat data show.
In March, compared to the same month last year, consumer prices were on average 10,5 percent higher.
In the period January-March this year, compared to the same period last year, consumer prices were on average 13,9 percent higher.
Observed by the main groups of products and services according to the purpose of consumption, in March, compared to the previous month, growth was recorded in the groups transport by two percent, clothing and footwear by 1,7 percent, furniture, household equipment and routine apartment maintenance by 0,5 percent , health 0,4 percent, recreation and culture 0,3 percent, housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels 0,2 percent.
The drop in prices was recorded in the groups food and non-alcoholic beverages by three percent, other goods and services by 0,4 percent and communications and restaurants and hotels by 0,1 percent each.
The prices of other products and services did not change significantly.
