Prime Minister of Montenegro Dritan Abazović and Prime Minister of Kosovo Aljbin Kurti signed a bilateral agreement on air transport today in Pristina.
According to the Government, the agreement will provide numerous benefits for the air traffic of the two countries.
"Thank you to Montenegro for its strong support in many regional and international initiatives and forums," Kurti said, adding that Montenegro is always friendly towards Kosovo.
He emphasized that he is happy because they signed the Agreement which, as he said, will enable the citizens of Kosovo to significantly shorten their journey to Pristina.
On that occasion, Abazović said that Montenegro has always supported Kosovo in European integration and that he is satisfied with the signed Agreement.
"We are proud of the economic cooperation and a lot of investments from Kosovo in Montenegro recently, which results in the opening of new factories and the construction of new hotels", said Abazović, emphasizing the direction of the two governments to work together on the construction of a tunnel that will better connect Plav and Dečane and significant improvement of the road between Rožaj and Peć.
The Government announced that the opening of a common air corridor between Montenegro and Kosovo increases mobility and develops tourism and trade between the two countries.
