The public company for the management of maritime assets has announced a public procurement for the insurance of the responsibility of the shipowners ("Vasilije" and "August 30") for damages to motor vehicles that are the subject of ferry transportation.

The state company has taken over the management of the only ferry line in the state, Kamenare-Lepetani, and currently has two ferries in its fleet, and three more ferries should be acquired soon in order for traffic on this line to run smoothly.

On April 10, at a telephone session, the government adopted the Maritime Property Information regarding the procedure for the procurement of the remaining necessary ferries and tasked the state-owned company with conducting an urgent public procurement procedure for the purchase of three ferries.
