Our company, in terms of realized profit, achieved significant progress during the previous two years.
Specifically, the profit for the period 01.04.2021 – 31.03.2023. amounts to €142.094.727. For the sake of comparison, the profit for the period 01.01.2002 – 31.12.2020. amounts to -27.643.668 €.
Savings for citizens amount to €1.028.705.200.
The average monthly bill of €33 would, if price increases had been resorted to, be 3.5 times higher and amount to €115.
At the same time, EPCG itself bears the burden of the energy crisis. In 2022, 100 GWh surpluses were realized. If they had been sold at that time, EPCG would have earned €10.000.000, but by transferring it to 2023, €25.000.000 was earned for the same amount, resulting in an extra profit of €15.000.000.
€102.000.000 was paid into the state budget, €30.000.000 based on profit, and €72.000.000 based on other duties.
Other aspects of business in 2022:
By maintaining the old price and implementing promotional actions, EPCG shows care for customers, which is recognized through the increase in the number of regular payers. Their number increased from 190.000 to 230.000 in two years.
As part of the "Solari 3000+ and 500+" project, photovoltaic panels with a power of 17 MW were installed on over 1.500 buildings. Only as part of this expansion of the production portfolio, the first in the last four decades, based on the energy released and the works performed, EPCG will generate an annual income of almost €10.000.000.
The property of Željezara Nikšić was paid for €20.000.000, and is worth €63.725.733, which initially generated an income of €43.725.733.
