Montenegro has entered the process of electronic fiscalization, so now its upgrade is coming, that is, the introduction of the electronic invoice system, which will solve the problems of value added tax (VAT) refunds and faster and better collection for all tax forms, announced the Minister of Finance Aleksandar Damjanović.
"Based on the talks we had at the invitation of the Minister of Finance of Serbia, which took place in January, we received a letter from the Ministry of Finance of Serbia where they express their willingness to provide us with software solutions for the introduction of e-invoices free of charge," said Damjanović at the Government session.
Damjanović emphasized that the conditions are being met through cooperation with the Ministry of Finance for the start of the implementation of the program, which will result in the fact that Montenegro will soon receive the Law on e-invoices, in order to create legal and institutional prerequisites for the introduction of this mechanism into circulation.
