Through two programs of active employment policy, implemented by the Employment Agency (ZZZ), 576 unemployed people from the register will be hired.
The Board of Directors of the Institute made decisions on the selection of beneficiaries of the funds for the implementation of the program Direct job opening - public work and Incentives for employment.
899,82 beneficiaries of funds were selected for the implementation of the program Direct job creation - public work, which the Institute will finance in the amount of 538 thousand EUR for 167 unemployed people.
"Out of this number of beneficiaries, 70 of them will implement programs of social content, in which EUR 449,91 thousand will be invested. 264 unemployed people will be employed in the programs," the Institute announced.
For the implementation of humanitarian, educational, ecological, communal, infrastructural content programs, as well as preservation of cultural and historical monuments and other content in areas of public interest, 97 program performers were selected.
EUR 449,91 thousand will be invested in these programs, and employment will be provided for 274 unemployed persons.
"By being employed in temporary, non-market jobs of public interest, lasting up to three months, program participants should acquire knowledge and maintain and improve work skills, in order to increase their employment in the open labor market and mitigate the risk of social exclusion, which fully corresponds to the expected result of the implementation of the program Direct job opening - public work", explained the Institute.
For the implementation of the second program, entitled Incentives for employment, nine beneficiaries of funds were selected.
The institute will finance these programs in the amount of EUR 43,17 thousand for the work engagement of 38 unemployed people in a period of four months.
"The institute and the beneficiaries of the funds, i.e. the program performers, will regulate mutual rights, obligations and responsibilities by contract, while respecting the limitations prescribed by the provisions of the Law on the Financing of Political Entities and Election Campaigns," the announcement concludes.
