The company "Magnum Development" and the "IHG" group signed a franchise agreement, so that the new hotel in Kolašin will operate under the name "Crowne Plaza Kolašin".
The contract was signed by the Executive Director of "Magnum Development" Veselin Bečanović and the Vice President for Development of "IHG" for Southeast Europe, Hilko Verstig.
"IHG" is one of the most important hotel groups in Europe and the world, which has over 6.000 hotels and over 900.000 rooms in its portfolio.
Hotel '"Crowne Plaza Kolašin" sa 105 accommodation units will have SPA and wellness center, swimming pool, restaurant, bar, garages with parking spaces, and is located in in the very heart of the center of Kolašin in the immediate vicinity of the pedestrian zone.
Estimated value of the hotel construction project according to the condo business model amounts to over 13 million euros.
Hotel will focus on the area health tourism, which will represent a unique offer not only in Kolašin, but in general in the northern part of Montenegro. The offer conceived in this way, based on the concept of mountain health tourism, will ensure extremely good hotel attendance throughout the year.
Also, the Hotel "Crowne Plaza Kolašin" will represent a unique energy efficient tourism project in Montenegro.
He attended the signing ceremony Prime Minister of Montenegro, Mr. Dritan Abazović, who addressed numerous dignitaries from the diplomatic corps, the state establishment and the business world.
The event reflected in front of the Petrović Castle in Podgorica was attended by, among the many guests Their Excellencies the Ambassadors of a number of countries, among others: the United States of America, Italy, France, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The construction of the hotel is planned to be completed by the end of 2024, and the company points out that what distinguishes "Magnum Development" is the implementation of modern standards and cooperation with the best, hence the cooperation with "IHG", as well as with the consultants who professionally led the Magnum Development negotiation process with IHG: KB Consulting and Advokatska office Radonjić.
The hotel construction project, based on the condo business model, received approval from the Government of Montenegro to be included in the list of development projects in the field of tourism in June 2022.
