The third-ranked Vesna Ćalović was elected as the director of the Labor Fund

Today, the Management Board of the Labor Fund elected Vesna Ćalović, who was ranked third in the competition of the Human Resources Administration, as the executive director of that institution for a full term of five years.

She was the state secretary in the Ministry of Public Administration when Suzana Pribilović was the minister in Duško Marković's government.

Representatives of the trade union, the Employers' Union and two representatives of the Government, Zoran Ratković (DPS) and Nađa Pekić, who is in that position as a representative of the Civic Movement URA, voted for Ćalović.

Ana Mrdović, a long-time employee of the Labor Fund and its acting director from the period of the 43nd Government, had the highest score of 42 on the Human Resources Administration test. The current acting director Jelisaveta Zorić Jović had 36 points, and Ćalović only 34,33 points.

Against the election of Vesna Ćalović, due to the fact that she was only ranked third, were two representatives of the Government, Vuk Novaković and Albert Camaj, and employee representative Vesna Božović.

A similar situation existed last year at the Employment Agency, when the third-ranked Goran Folić was elected. The government commission later annulled that election, stating that it was illegal, because it was not explained why they voted for the third-ranked candidate.
