The independent Labor Fund union demands that Pekić say who is putting pressure on her

The independent trade union of the Labor Fund invited the deputy president of the Management Board of that institution Nadja Pekić to announce who forced and pressured her to sign the appointment decision Vesne Ćalović for the director.

"The trade union informed the prime minister and the judicial authorities about this strange and unusual event," the labor organization announced yesterday.

"Vijesti" previously announced that Pekić signed the decision on the appointment of Ćalović, but also that with that document, the other candidates were denied the right to appeal, given that the legal instruction directed them to start a dispute before the Administrative Court, even though it is not competent.

When asked by "Vijesti" why she directs the candidates to the Administrative Court, when the Governmental Appeals Commission is responsible, Pekić replied that she is a psychologist by profession, that the Fund does not have a president of the Board of Directors, so she, as vice-president, "was forced to sign the document".

The independent trade union says that in that organization they thought that "the time of pressure and directives is behind us, but obviously it is not".

They promised that both the union and the employees would protect Pekić, if she announced who "forced" her to sign the decision on the appointment of Ćalović.

"The independent union of the Labor Fund is shocked by Mrs. Pekić's statement that she was forced to sign the document on the appointment of the director. We wonder how it is possible that someone is allowed and can impose or put pressure on the Government representative in the Management Board how to behave and how to make such important decisions", they said.

They also announced that they would require Pekić to "call an emergency meeting of the Management Board in accordance with the Labor Law".

"And answer and explain to the employees and the Montenegrin public what kind of 'levy' was discussed", announced the union.

The Board of Directors forwarded the decision on the appointment of the director to the Human Resources Administration.

In the document, which "Vijesti" has access to, the legal instruction refers to the other two candidates Ana Mrdovic i Jelisaveta Zorić Jović to appeal the decision to the Administrative Court.

At the beginning of the year, that court announced itself as having no jurisdiction in the case of the election of the third-ranked candidate in the competition for the director of the Employment Agency Goran Folić. It was established that the Governmental Appeals Commission is the competent authority, to which candidates who are dissatisfied with the outcome of the competition turn. In the case of the Employment Agency, appeals were forwarded to the Government Commission only after the Administrative Court declared it incompetent, so the election of Folić was annulled a year after the adoption, and he was appointed director.

Complaints have also been announced in the case of the election of the director of the Labor Fund, so the same scenario can be repeated.
