SDT examines the selection of the Director of the Labor Fund

The Special State Prosecutor's Office requested documentation related to the election Vesne Ćalović for the director of the Labor Fund.

This was unofficially confirmed to the editorial office of "Vijesti" from several sources.

"Vijesti" previously announced that the Management Board of the Labor Fund prevents the appeals of other candidates in the director competition by directing them to start a dispute before the Administrative Court, even though in a similar case that court instance declared itself incompetent.

Ćalović, by the way, was ranked third in the testing of the Human Resources Administration, and in the decision of the Board of Directors on the appointment, the legal instruction directs the other candidates - Ana Mrdovic i Jelisaveta Zorić Jović to appeal to the Administrative Court.

To the question "Vijesti" why it directs the candidates to the Administrative Court, when the Government's Commission for Appeals is competent, the Deputy President of the Management Board Nadja Pekić then she replied that she is a psychologist by profession, that the Fund does not have a chairman of the Board of Directors, so she, as vice-chairman, "was forced to sign the document".

"Vijesti" then asked Pekić at the beginning of this week if she was registered in the Central Registry as the deputy president of the Management Board of the Labor Fund, if her signature on the document was an obstacle to registering the election of Vesna Ćalović as executive director. She was also asked whether it is necessary to wait for the completion of the appeals procedures for the newly elected director to take office. "Vijesti" did not receive an answer to these questions.

There is no registered vice president of the Management Board of the Labor Fund in the Central Registry.
