Solar construction contract extended to all but a few electricians

Several electricians from Solar Construction claim that they were the only ones not to have their contracts extended, and that this was done because the other colleagues chose them to discuss the status of employees with the management, so they, "neither guilty nor indebted", were given the title of "engineer". .

They complain about the poor organization, that they did not have the basic means to work, and therefore they could not meet the stipulated norms, nor achieve the bonuses provided for in the last contracts they signed, as well as that they used their own cars to go to the field without compensation for fuel. They also claim that their colleagues-electricians, whose contracts were extended, were prevented from supporting them two days ago.

"We buy the most basic things for work with our own money and thanks to the resourcefulness of engineers. Because of all that, and in order not to 'endure' the work, we agreed that each of the four groups would choose one representative who would lie to the superiors and complain about the poor organization, the lack of work materials, but also to find out what our status is , can we hope for indefinite contracts", said the electricians whose contracts were not extended.

According to their claims, they did not receive the requested answers from the president of the Board of Directors, Ljubiša Đurković, so they waited for 15 days for someone from the EPCG administration to receive them, and when that did not happen, all the electricians made a unanimous decision to stop work.

"Nevertheless, a day later we were informed that we would be received by Milutin Đukanović, and that we should come to the administration building of EPCG, and the meeting took place in a discussion and in an improper atmosphere, so we were accused of working against the company that feeds our families with bread," claim the electricians. .

"We tried in vain to explain to Đukanović that from the first day we worked with maximum dedication to get the work started, that we worked with our own tools, that we used our own cars to go to the field without compensation for fuel, that we trained electricians without experience, because there are few of us . I guess it's expected that after a year we'll ask someone about the status and future of the company we've been in since its foundation", they stated and added that it was obvious that the management did not "understand that they are only representatives of all electricians", that they are unique, and that they are not ringleaders either. organizers of any strikes.

"Dismissals were distributed to electricians who have no blemishes in their work, as claimed by the engineers who lead the groups. Apparently, no one from the management of Solar construction is interested in the quality of work, nor how much any of the workers know and can work. We were especially revolted by the fact that they sent our colleagues to prevent the rest of the electricians from supporting us, because they just wanted to show solidarity and say that we are all in the same problem".

The electricians from Solar Construction, whose contract was not extended, claim that more than half of the employees in their company do not come to work at all, but that one third work for the others and earn their salary.

They informed the union leaders about their case, and they will also ask the inspection services to visit Solar construction. As they said, they will once again address the President of the Board of Directors of EPCG, Milutin Đukanović, as well as the Director of Solar Construction, Ranko Vuksanović, and they will wait for answers until Monday noon, otherwise they will announce protests in front of the EPCG building. They expect that in addition to their colleagues, workers from Nikšić companies will also support them.
