Delić: Plužine received around 1,3 million euros, we expect another 700.000, the state finally looked at the sixth largest municipality

After 25 years of receiving modest funds from the state and on a "spoonful basis", as the president of the Municipality of Plužine, Slobodan Delić, said, they finally received significant money this year - about 1,3 million euros, and they expect to receive another 700 by the end of the year. thousands of euros.

"The most significant investment of the state is for asphalting the 12 kilometers of the southern Durmitor ring road from Šavnik to Plužine. That road is important both for tourism and for connecting the local population," Delić said during a working breakfast with journalists.

In addition to him, the chief administrator of the municipality, Vladimir Knežević, was also present.

Delić expressed his satisfaction that the state finally "looked at the sixth largest municipality in the state".

When it comes to road infrastructure, the municipality intends to additionally asphalt six kilometers of local roads, as well as to pave and adapt the village road Unač - Barni Do, while the road from Muratovica to Ravni is already paved.

"Road infrastructure, water supply and electricity are three essential elements in order to retain the population, and that is our main task. Project documentation has been prepared for two water supply lines, Borkovići-Dubljevići and Goransko, and we expect the state to help us in their construction," Delić said. .

According to him, the project documentation for the arrangement of the area near the city beach has been prepared, the city chapel has been adapted, and these days they expect to call for a tender for the arrangement of the street from the hangar to its connection to the city road.

"We have announced a tender for two business spaces - one will be a business hub that we will give to local entrepreneurs, while the other will be turned into a city gym. The equipment and devices have already been purchased," said the president of the Plužine Municipality.

As he said, he is aware that the main problems are the lack of population and the lack of jobs, so they are trying to change that situation. According to him, they have defined a business zone in Brezni, they are close to an agreement with the owner of the space and they already have two interested investors who are interested in wood processing. For Plužine, as Delic said, ten new jobs mean a lot.

According to him, tourism and agriculture are the priority activities of the local administration, and tourism in Piva, as he pointed out, has surpassed the pioneering moments and is in a serious phase of development.

This year, the Municipality and the Piva Nature Park organized numerous cultural and musical events, all with the aim of promoting Piva so that tourists would not only come, but also stay longer, experience Piva in the true sense and return to it again. According to the data of the Nature Park, 3.000 nights were spent in Piva in May and June.

Delić reminded that they made a decision to remove the limiting factor, the number of cows, for subsidies on milk processing, as well as to subsidize each beehive with 20 euros. As significant, Delić pointed out the stocking of Lake Piva, after a ten-year break.

Delić pointed out that he hopes that Elektroprivreda Crne Gore will finally begin to fulfill its obligations regarding the construction of Piva Lake.

"Elektroprivreda mostly benefits from the territory of the municipality, and gives a little back to the community. As far as the obligations are concerned, they have only fulfilled the little things, and a small number of people from Piva have been employed in the hydroelectric plant. So far, we have not yet had official discussions with the manager of Elektroprivreda, but we hope that they will "Let it happen quickly, because he has to fulfill his obligations as soon as possible. Despite the good will, we are close to the end of our patience and we will not sit idly by, but will look for a way to fulfill those obligations," Delić said.

He appealed to the governments of Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina to move from the final promise to the realization of the reconstruction of the Plužine-Foča exit, which is in an extremely bad condition.

Delić said that he expects that on August 4, on the Municipal Day, he will open the Tower of Lazar Sočica on Goranski, which will be a historical and natural history museum and which will "tell" the rich history of Piva to tourists.
