Drakić: A strategy with a focus on key sectors is needed for economic development and balanced regional development

For the overall development of the economy and balanced regional development, a strategy with a focus on key sectors is needed, said the president of the Chamber of Commerce (PKCG), Nina Drakić.

"It is necessary to realize the capital projects that have been started and start new ones in order to use the potential that is concentrated in the north," said Drakić at the closing of the 4th Bjelopolje Business Forum.

She said that we have to synchronize the banks' offer with the needs of the economy.

"Cooperation protocols should be made at the local and national level and it is necessary to monitor the implementation of projects through parliamentary committees, so that they are not stopped due to administrative obstacles. Only with a stronger voice of all of us - both businessmen and local authorities, can we encourage decision makers to ensure better economic development of the country", said Drakić.

The President of the Municipality, Petar Smolović, noted that the Forum met expectations and thanked the participants.

Among the conclusions that will be reached in the communication of the organizers of the meeting, he believes that they particularly singled out that the north has a perspective, and it is necessary to finish the highway, as well as the projects started by the 41st government.

"We have to create a strategy for the development of the north that would be adopted unanimously and be a task for all governments," said Smolović.

The Bjelo Polje charter for contribution to the Bjelo Polje Business Forum was presented to the President of the 41st Government, Duško Marković, and the distinguished businessman and president of the Bjelo Polje Economic Development Council, Hasan Ramović, who is also one of the founders of the BBF.
