Strengthening fiscal discipline is extremely important, because the fight against the gray economy is in the interest of all citizens, the Tax and Customs Administration (UPC) announced.
"That's why we need to contribute to the joint forces to make them successful," said the UPC.
U notification on the UPC website it is stated that any person can easily, at any time, check whether the account is correct, i.e. whether it has been verified through the fiscal service.
This can be done by simply scanning the QR code.
"This is extremely important, because the amount of value added tax (VAT) on the account is the citizens' money with which they participate in filling the budget. That is why the issuer is obliged to record the account in the UPC system," the UPC added.
All irregularities can be reported through the Call Center at number 19707.
