This year, the municipality of Tivat will invest a total of around one million euros in works on the adaptation and modernization of the existing traffic infrastructure.
This was announced yesterday by the local administration of Tivat, noting that the tender procedure was completed at the end of May and a contract worth 443.945 euros was signed with the bidder "Asfalt-beton gradnja" doo from Podgorica.
Pursuant to this contract, asphalting and street adaptation works were carried out in June at locations in Gošići and Novi naselje in Radovići.
About 195.000 euros were spent for these purposes, which is slightly less than half of the total amount.
"For September, after the ban on construction works on the territory of the Municipality of Tivat expires, we are planning further activities. We will cover the streets in Seljanov, in Mažina, Marići, Dumidran, Donja Lastva, Gradiošnica with a new layer of asphalt," announced the director of the Directorate for Investments, Vlado Brguljan. .
In the coming days, according to the Directorate, another tender will be announced for the selection of contractors for additional works on asphalting the streets in Tivat, and the estimated value of the works is around 500.000 euros.
According to a separate tender, works on the rehabilitation of the retaining wall and parts of the streets in Kostići, worth 15.000 euros, have already been carried out.
These days, asphalting of the section of the road MR1 - Topliš, towards Bigova, was completed, and the value of the works is 45.000 euros.
