The Ministry of Finance plans to prepare information and inform diplomatic and consular missions in Montenegro and international institutions about the state of public finances.
This was said at today's Government session by the minister of that department, Aleksandar Damjanović, who emphasized that this move will give the right situation in public institutions and show openness.
"In order to prevent some attempts to serve completely incorrect information to a number of representatives of the diplomatic network in the country through spins and to seek an alibi for political events, in these matters," Damjanović said.
He said that he thinks that it would be good if, in addition to the Government's adoption of the information, it should be forwarded to the international financial institutions in the right way.
Prime Minister Dritan Abazović said that he agreed and repeated that there are 190 million euros in the state coffers. He emphasized that the tourist season met their expectations and that they expect it to be a record.
He repeated that the 43rd Government is the one that has the least indebtedness of Montenegro since independence and that the state of public debt at the level of 58 percent has not been in the country for the last 15 years.
"These are facts, everything else can be the subject of politics, discussion and spin," added Abazović.
