Total turnover on the Montenegro Stock Exchange in August amounted to 555,22 thousand euros and was 71,8 percent lower than in July.
"Compared to August last year, traffic is 17,19 percent higher. The average daily turnover was 24,14 thousand euros", it is stated in the Bulletin of the Montenegro Stock Exchange.
In August, there were 23 trading days, and 144 transactions were concluded.
The total turnover in August on the prime market amounted to 337,88 thousand euros, and 43 transactions were concluded.
In the same period, 25 transactions were concluded on the standard market, and the turnover amounted to 59,31 thousand euros.
During August, 42 transactions were concluded on the free market, and the turnover amounted to 98,74 thousand euros.
The total turnover on the MTP ME market was 59,28 thousand euros, and 34 transactions were concluded.
The value of the MNSE10 index at the end of August was 1.030,31 points, and compared to the same period last year, it increased by 27,52 percent.
The value of MONEX at the end of last month amounted to 15.129,6 points and compared to the comparative period, it is 2,59 percent higher.
The total market capitalization of shares on August 31 was 2,5 billion euros, which represents a drop of 23,96 percent compared to the same period last year.
The market capitalization decreased by 786,57 million in the period of one year.
