Foreign investments are an important engine of our economy, and that is why an open, efficient and transparent attitude of the state towards investors is important, as well as a safe legal and business environment that will strengthen our economic growth, said the President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović.
As reported by the Information Service of the President of Montenegro, he hosted a working lunch with members of the Board of Directors of the Council of Foreign Investors in Montenegro.
The announcement adds that the working lunch with the president was attended by: Tamaš Kamaraši - President of the Council of Foreign Investors and President of the Board of Directors of CKB, Branko Mitrović - Executive Director of One, Bogdan Podlesnik - Advisor to the Executive Director of NLB Bank, Nikola Jovanović - Financial Director of the company Jugopetrol AD and Predrag Leković from the Board of Directors of Porto Montenegro.
"The topic of the meeting was the investment climate in Montenegro, and the members of the Council introduced President Milatović to some of the key problems they are facing," the announcement reads.
Milatović said that in the coming period, he will strongly advocate for the improvement of cooperation between investors and state institutions, with the aim of strengthening the economy of Montenegro.
"They also discussed specific joint activities in attracting talent and creating business opportunities so that young people stay in Montenegro. In this context, it was agreed to hold regular meetings," the announcement concludes.
