Abazović: The government will increase pensions by five percent today, the minimum will be almost 300 euros

The Prime Minister of Montenegro, Dritan Abazović, announced that at today's session, the Government will make a decision to increase all pensions by five percent, while, as he said, the minimum pension will amount to almost 300 euros from now on.

"On the proposal of the Ministry of Finance and colleague Aleksandar Damjanović, the Government will today increase pensions by five percent. That's not all - with the new measure, the minimum pension will now amount to almost 300 euros, instead of 282 euros, which is what the pensioners with the lowest compensation received until now." wrote Abazović on the social network X, formerly Twitter.

He also said that pensioners can count on the Government's support in the coming period as well, all with the aim, as he added, of preserving the population's living standard and strengthening their material status.
