Bojan Krvavac, a member of the Board of Directors of the Pljevlja Coal Mine (RUP), resigned from that position due to a conflict of interest, "Vijesti" has learned.
Krvavac holds the position of assistant director in the strongest company in Pljevlja.
Stanojka Kljajević was elected president of the Board of Directors at the constitutive session today, but due to the resignation of Krvavac, the owner of RUP - Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG) must re-elect the Board of Directors.
On September 20, the board of directors of EPCG elected a new board of directors of Rudnik uglja Pljevlja, which, in addition to Krvavac and Kljajević, consists of Tamara Cmiljanić, Emir Bidžan and Nikola Miličić.
"I resigned due to a conflict of interest, bearing in mind that I hold the managerial position of assistant executive director, which is incompatible with membership in the Board of Directors. Bearing that in mind, I have formally reacted legally and will no longer participate in the work of the Board of Directors' sessions. Regarding the conditions I fulfill them in accordance with the Law and the Statute, so that is not the reason for my resignation. Therefore, I meet the requirements for a member of the Board of Directors, but due to a conflict of interest I cannot be in the same. If I were elected as the President of the Board of Directors, then I would not be in conflict The chairman of the board is a professional position, I would be employed there, as a member I am in a conflict of interest and that is the only reason for my resignation," Krvavac told "Vijesti".
