At today's negotiations between the strike committee and the management of the Post Office, an agreement was not reached on the percentage of salary increase for the workers, although a certain advance was reached, so the negotiations will continue tomorrow, "Vijesti" learns.
The strike committee is asking for a 30 percent salary increase for all employees except for management, while the management proposed increasing the coefficients for the lowest paid jobs at the negotiations on Friday, which would affect their salary increase by 11 percent.
The president of the strike committee, Jugoslav Marković, said that they will continue the negotiations tomorrow, as well as that they will declare the offer to the membership before accepting or rejecting it.
"We have an offer that we will not present publicly until we adopt it or reject it. We are communicating with the membership and we will make a statement tomorrow," said Marković.
The distribution of accounts should begin tomorrow, on October 15 child allowances and social benefits will be distributed, and on October 20, pensions will be distributed. The strike committee previously announced that these jobs will not work if their demands are not met, because only the universal service - distribution of letters is an obligation from the Strike Act.
Today, the proceedings before the Agency for the Peaceful Resolution of Disputes regarding the minimum work process in the Post Office, whose act was supposed to be adopted in 2015, were not continued.
