The company Ryanair will continue flights from Zagreb to Podgorica starting next summer.
It is expected that the low-cost airline will continue with flights from Zagreb to several destinations, reports the Investor portal.
Ryanair plans to resume flights between the Croatian capital and Manchester on June 1, and will fly every Tuesday and Saturday to Podgorica, also on June 1, with three weekly rotations on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday, as well as to the Bulgarian capital from June 3, two times a week, on Mondays and Thursdays.
Tickets for these three routes are yet to go on sale as the carrier continues to work on its schedule for the 2024 summer season, ExYu Aviation News reported.
“It's all about direct connections. This summer we had close to thirty destinations from Zagreb, 27 to be exact, and for the summer of 2024 we will try to make it over thirty. We are satisfied with the conditions in Zagreb, although any increase in fees affects costs, which we try to minimize," Ryanair's Chief Commercial Officer, Jason McGuinness, said recently.
The budget airline predicts that it will carry 1,2 million passengers on its flights to Zagreb this year.
