Representatives of the local community of Bokovo, Đinovići and Kosijeri submitted a criminal complaint to the Special State Prosecutor's Office (SDT) against employed NN persons in the Ministry of Capital Investments and the Government on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of abuse of official position in connection with the criminal offense of negligent work in the service.
The inhabitants of the Cetinje villages Đinovići, Kosijeri, Štitari and others have been opposing the construction of a quarry on the site of Milošev krš in that Municipality for some time.
"The report was filed against a public entity in the Ministry of Capital Investments and the Government for violating, first of all, the Constitution of Montenegro, and then also international conventions to which Montenegro is a signatory, as well as violations of a number of laws when choosing the disputed location, and then giving it to a concession. As as the lawsuit itself states, the entire procedure was first of all conducted secretly, with a series of irregularities, the end result of which is the intention to devastate the wider area of the three local communities," one of the residents of the village of Đinovići, Nikola Adžić, told "Vijesta".
He previously explained that the locals are demanding the suspension of all planned works on the Milos Karst and that they are ready for protests and roadblocks, and, as he said at the time, they will seek justice in court if necessary.
In February of last year, at the proposal of the Ministry of Capital Investments, the government passed a concession act for detailed geological research and exploitation of mineral resources, among others, for the location of Milosev Krs.
After that, the Ministry of Capital Investments announced a tender, so the Concession Agreement for the exploitation of technical-building stone was signed in August 2022 with the Podgorica company "Inženjering put".
