The meeting of representatives of trade union organizations and the management of the Airport of Montenegro is an opportunity to find, with good intentions, a space for solutions that can benefit the employees, without jeopardizing the company's operations, said the Minister of Capital Investments, Ervin Ibrahimović.
At the invitation of Ibrahimović, representatives of union organizations and Airport management met today to continue discussions on the key demands of workers and the possibilities of company representatives to agree with the proposed solutions.
Ibrahimović, as announced by the MKI, previously spoke with the representatives of the employees and the company, in order to support the continuation of the talks and the harmonization of their positions.
He said that the recent talks and today's meeting are a step forward in communication between the two parties and an opportunity to find room for solutions that can benefit the employees without jeopardizing the company's business, with the good intentions of everyone.
The representatives of the employees repeated the demands and said that there is a lot of dissatisfaction, as well as that they expect progress in the agreements with the employer. On the other hand, the management presented its arguments and dilemmas regarding certain requests.
At the end of the meeting, the following concrete steps were agreed with the aim of preparing the next meeting and eliminating certain legal dilemmas, which were the subject of discussion during the conversation.
Respecting the rights of workers and employees to organize a strike due to their dissatisfaction with the status and thus demand the fulfillment of their demands, Ibrahimović appealed to them, with the support of the relevant ministry, to use all existing mechanisms and continue discussions in order to reach common solutions.
The meeting was attended by State Secretary Admir Šahmanović, MKI secretary Mirsada Bošnjak, General Secretary of the Union of Trade Unions (SSCG) Duško Zarubica, president of the Podgorica Airport trade union organization, Slobodan Martinović and Nikola Tatar, president of the SSCG traffic union. The president of the Airport Board of Directors was also present at the meeting. Eldin Dobardžić, member of that body Slavko Vukčević and executive director Vladan Drašković.
