Cooperation and networking are essential for encouraging the growth of an efficient and innovative ecosystem, it was assessed at the conference on digitization during and after the coronavirus pandemic, organized by the University of Donja Gorica (UDG) in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce (PKCG).
"Collaboration and networking are essential to ensure that only the best practices are exported to other regions, while at the same time the necessary expertise is imported, in order to encourage the growth of an efficient and innovative ecosystem", it was announced at the conference organized by UDG, as coordinator of the DigNest project, which is financed by the EU through the Erasmus+ program.
In addition to representatives of project partners, the Conference was attended by representatives of micro, small and medium enterprises with an emphasis on the sectors of IT, agriculture and health tourism.
The conference was opened by the professor at UDG, Ivana Ognjanović, who said that the goal of the project is to support the modernization of higher education institutions in Montenegro and strengthen their cooperation with leading companies on the market.
In this way, as she explained, it would be ensured that graduates, future experts and the workforce successfully adapt to the digital age.
Special emphasis at the conference was placed on the changes that occurred as a result of the pandemic, which put the issue of digitization and digital transformation high on the list of priorities, not only in the countries included in the project, but also throughout the world.
The conference covered the issues of digitization in education and the digital improvement of innovations through two blocks of presentations.
PKCG presented the CBC Interreg Italy - Albania - Montenegro (PHASE) project at the conference.
"As a continuation of the project activities, during the Economy Conference held last week, activities aimed at promoting the DigNest project were carried out. Interested participants, about 300 of them, had the opportunity to talk with the coordinators, as well as the Montenegrin and EU partners who are implementing the project," PKCG announced.
