The construction of the first section of the Bar-Boljara highway in the best way affirms the continuation of cooperation between Montenegro and China in key areas, primarily in the domain of road and traffic infrastructure, it was assessed at the meeting of representatives of the Montenegrin Government and Chinese Ambassador Fan Kun.
The Deputy Prime Minister for Labour, Education, Health and Social Affairs, Srđan Pavićević, met today with Fan, who pointed out that Montenegro has the unreserved support of China when it comes to the further economic, cultural, political and social prosperity of the country.
As announced by the Vice President's Office, Pavićević, stating that Montenegro and China are bound by a long-standing friendship based on the principles of mutual respect, emphasized the importance of further improving relations in all areas of mutual interest.
In this context, he pointed to the existence of additional space for strengthening the partnership in terms of health and education, primarily in the field of technology and knowledge transfer, but also in other areas that contribute to the overall economic growth of Montenegro.

"Everything starts with an idea," said Pavićević and added that ideas are necessary for the creation of new processes and successful enterprises, which provide great opportunities for the economic and social development of Montenegro.
The interlocutors stated that the real symbol of successful Chinese-Montenegro cooperation and the real project model in the field of infrastructure is the construction of the first section of the highway, which best affirms the continuation of cooperation in key areas, primarily in the domain of road and traffic infrastructure.
"With assurances from the Chinese side that there are a large number of credible Chinese companies interested in investing in Montenegro, it was concluded that cooperation between China and the countries of Southeast Europe is an important segment of China's cooperation with the European Union (EU), so special support was sent to the accession process of Montenegro to the Union", the announcement states.
The interlocutors concluded that they expect the business cooperation between the two countries to continue in the process of realizing specific projects in the nearest future.
