The Association of Managers of Montenegro (AMM) strongly supports the accelerated fulfillment of goals on the way to joining the European Union, announced today the president of the AMM, Budimir Raičković.
AMM announced that the newly appointed French ambassador to Montenegro, Anne-Marie Maske, visited AMM and on that occasion met Raičković.
The announcement adds that during the meeting, Raičković informed Maske about the Association's activities in the past period as well as future plans.
"Special emphasis is placed on AMM's commitment to the rule of law, a predictable business environment, as well as the need for further improvement of leadership and managerial skills in the private and public sector, further professionalization and depoliticization of public administration, as well as raising knowledge and principles of corporate governance, both in companies in both state and private ownership," the announcement reads.
AMM said that Maske congratulated "the significant anniversary of 10 years, which is being celebrated these days by the Association of Managers, and she particularly referred to the high-quality cooperation achieved by the French Embassy in Montenegro and AMM over the years".
"Maske expressed the expectation that cooperation will be further deepened and intensified through various projects and activities, with special reference to the Cooperation Agreement signed in February 2023, between AMM and the French-Montenegrin Business Club. The Ambassador of France gave a particularly positive assessment and welcomed the role of the Association in the field of leadership and management and in that context particularly positively evaluated the planned activities of the Committee for Women's Leadership", said AMM.
They also said that Maske assessed that the Association's mission and further activities are extremely important for the Montenegrin business and wider community on the way to the EU.
"It was assessed that there are wide opportunities for cooperation between France and Montenegro on a business level, in various aspects of tourism, ecology, energy, digital transformation, and the like," concludes the AMM announcement.
