Minister of Public Administration Maraš Dukaj and his colleagues spoke today with the representatives of the Association of Managers of Montenegro, AMM President Budimir Raičković, Deputy President Zoran Savić, Executive Director Anđela Radosavović and President of the Board for the Implementation of AI, Ivan Šoča.
This was announced by the Ministry of Public Administration.
"In addition to the minister, the meeting was attended by the general directors for infrastructure, information security, digitization and e-services, Dušan Polović and for strategic planning in public administration, international cooperation and IPA funds, Marija Hajduković," the announcement states.
At the meeting, it was added, they discussed the reform of public administration, digital transformation, modernization and efficiency of public administration in the segment of e-services.
"Dukaj informed those present about the current plans of the Government of Montenegro and the Ministry of Public Administration, which relate to the reform of public administration and the improvement and development of human resources," it is stated.
He praised the activities of AMM in the field of digital transformation and, as stated in the announcement, pointed out that there is room for cooperation, as well as the inclusion of AMM in the Council for Public Administration, as well as other bodies whose work the Ministry is responsible for.
"The Ministry of Public Administration, in the process of digital transformation, although full of challenges, is trying to strengthen the cooperation of the economic sector and the Government, first of all, with the people who are the leaders of the digital transformation in Montenegro", said Dukaj.
He said that digital transformation is one of the most important tasks of society as a whole, in which everyone must be aware that digitization without a key transformation of our consciousness, way of doing business, knowledge and skills cannot be sufficient for progress in the fast-paced modern world.
"Representatives of the Association introduced the minister to the activities of AMM, with a focus on digitalization of public administration, development of human resources and management skills, as well as digital transformation," the announcement states.
The President of the Association introduced the representatives of MJU to the activities of the AMM, with special reference to good management and the need for even stronger professionalization and depoliticization of public administration, as well as that the Association, with its human resources, can help the public administration in reform, which would result in efficient and useful services for the economy and citizens.
At the meeting, it was agreed to concretize the cooperation of MJU and AMM through the signing of the Memorandum on Cooperation.
Concrete activity plans in the mentioned areas were agreed upon at the meeting, so that the cooperation would have the greatest degree of realization when it comes to the efficiency, transparency and quality of services provided by the public administration to the economy and citizens.
