The ceremony marking the jubilee - 10 years of work of the Association of Managers of Montenegro (AMM) was held last night in Podgorica. AMM President Budimir Raičković said that the association was founded with the idea that Montenegro cannot move forward without a leader.

"I want to say to the new political leaders: guys, you have a great historical chance in front of you. Overcome small differences and, together with us elders, move Montenegro forward," he said, as reported by Mediabiro.

Raickovic said that Montenegro has a chance to progress with women managers and leaders.

Raičković gave special attention to the question of female leadership and, among other things, pointed out that the Association made a decision to initiate and support the work of the newly formed Association of Women Leaders of Montenegro, and that the presidency of AMM made a decision to elect Marijana Kadić as the head of that organization, i.e. as its president. Bojanić, who deserves it with her previous work, references and results.

Raičković further emphasized the expectation that the newly formed movement of female leaders will receive support from everyone, including the President, the Government, the Parliament, as well as a number of other institutions and initiatives.

At the gathering, a film was shown on the occasion of the Association's ten years of existence.

The President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović, expressed his satisfaction at attending the event and congratulated Raičković on his "persistence, commitment and effort" to elevate the Association to the level of "an indispensable partner of institutions that create economic policy in Montenegro".

"I met Mr. Raičković when I assumed the post of Minister of Economic Development, in an extremely difficult moment for our economy. Then Mr. Raičković recognized my desire to work on creating a better economic environment and I am grateful to him personally and to the Association for constructive advice, cooperation and good synergy in moments when such an approach was most needed. I really appreciate everything you do for your organization, and therefore for society as a whole, and I believe that your engagement can be an excellent example for younger generations of managers when it comes to dedication and work," said Milatović.

At the gathering, a minute's silence was held in honor of the recently deceased director of M:tel, Tatjana Mandić. Also, a short film about her achievements was shown.

The association also awarded awards to managers for successful work.

The celebration of the anniversary was attended by representatives of the Government, local self-governments, DKP, companies from the country and the region, members of the Association of Managers and representatives of the media.

Congratulations to AMM were sent by representatives of regional and European associations.

"We are proud of the great successes of the Montenegrin Association of Managers and you can serve as an example to everyone," said the Croatian Association of Managers.

Apart from Milatović and Deputy Prime Minister Aleksa Bečić, the meeting was attended by ambassadors from Kvinta, ambassadors of all countries in the region, and presidents of almost all municipalities, reports Mediabiro.
