The association of former workers of "Vektra Boke" claims that the trade union of that company caused them significant damage and disputed their protests, that Dragan Brković never fully paid for the company's shares and that he is not the real owner, and they called the government and the Special State Prosecutor's Office (SDT). to exact justice on their behalf.
These are some of the messages that former employees presented at yesterday's protest, which they held in front of the "Igalo" hotel in Herceg Novi. Association president Đorđe Rajak told "Vijesta" that their demands have not changed, so they are still demanding payment of severance pay and debts for 220 former workers. The giro account of the company "Vektra Boka" has been continuously blocked for almost four years, with a total debt of 12,1 million euros.
Rajak pointed out that the company's trade union had harmed them several times, the first of which was in 2013, when bankruptcy was introduced at "Bok", where, he claims, they slowed down the workers' protests and told them that they were not entitled to severance pay. He said that the total debts of 220 of them, including severance pay, amount to around five million euros, but that the previous attempts to collect have had no effect.
"Plots owned by Boka were sold in order to settle the workers' claims, but nothing came of it. Today's Vektra Boka facilities are worth between 20 and 30 million euros," he said.
Rajak repeated the previous allegations, that Brković never paid for the shares of "Boka", but that after the payments he returned the money, according to which 90 percent of the amount was returned to him. He also asked for an explanation from the President of the High Court, Boris Savić, who previously issued a decision canceling the proposal of the SDT and the decision of Judge Suzana Mugoša, who determined a temporary measure prohibiting the disposal and use of immovable property registered in the cadastre as ownership or with the right to use it. to the company "Vektra Boka".
Rajak asked Savić why the proposal of the SDT and the decision of Judge Mugoša were abolished, that is, to clarify the explanation of the decision according to which there are no elements of criminal acts, but also why they do not have the right to appeal the decision.
He announced that the former workers of "Boka" will protest at intervals of two or three weeks, until they receive justice and debts.
In August of last year, the owner of "Vektra" Dragan Brković, his sons Boris and Bojan, as well as the executive director of the company Milić Popović, were detained by order of the SDT. SDT accuses them of having damaged the state for slightly more than seven million euros - by not complying with the contract on the purchase and sale of the former state HTP "Bok", by committing criminal acts of abuse of authority in the economy and money laundering.
Brković and Popović were in custody until mid-October, when the conditions for their further detention expired because special prosecutor Lidija Vukčević heard all the witnesses and conducted the evidentiary proceedings, after which she requested the abolition of detention.
