29 applications were received for the selection of two members of the Board of Directors of the national airline "To Montenegro", while 31 applications were received for the selection of two members of the Council of the Civil Aviation Agency (ACV).
This was officially told to "Vijesta" by the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Transport, which it manages Filip Radulović with the clarification that there were candidates who applied for both competitions.
"Out of the total number of applications, a list of the five best-ranked candidates was made, and the final decision will be made as soon as possible," the department's response states.
This public call followed after the Government dismissed the entire Board of Directors of "To Montenegro" and the ACV Council at the end of November.
The members of the ACV Council were Slobodanka Burić, Camil Kujević, Edis Catovic i Miljana Knezevic and the president was Dragan Stojanovic. He was the president of the "To Montenegro" Committee Pavle Ljesar, and the members Orhan Hodzic, Suad Đelović, Mensur Mujević i Danilo Marković.
There are a total of five members in these bodies.
"Vijesti" recently asked the ministry why only two members of the Board of Directors of "To Montenegro" and the ACV Council were elected through a public call, and not the entire composition of these two bodies.
"The Ministry of Transport and Maritime Affairs, with the decision to announce a public call for the election of two members each of the ACV Council and the Board of Directors of the national airline "To Montenegro", wants to change the long-standing practice that only representatives of political parties sit in these bodies. Therefore, we believe that the election of two members of the Council of ACV and the Board of Directors of "To Montenegro" through a public call represents a huge step forward and only the beginning of good practice that will continue in the coming period", they said in this department.
