MP of the Europe Now Movement (PES), Tonći Janović, said that the amendment to the VAT Act was not proposed by this Government and added that this amendment was adopted in December 2022 in the Parliament, PES announced.
He reacted to Goran Đurović's claims that "the announcement that the Government will increase the VAT for caterers to 21 percent, from the current 7 percent, is another bad move in a series," saying that a year has passed since that change.
"The government, in which he was responsible for this as Minister of Economic Development, Đurović, did not change it, and now he is subverting it as a measure of the 44th Government. Mr. Đurović, from your announcement, we can best see how the government you were in worked, when you were not acquainted with the laws that were passed during your term of office," stated Janović, the Europe Now Movement (PES) announced.
