A good partnership between companies and the government encourages investments and creates quality jobs, said the American ambassador to Montenegro, Judy Reising Rajnke.
The American Chamber of Commerce in Montenegro (AmCham) organized a gala dinner tonight, during which certificates of appreciation were handed out for the special contribution to the implementation of the "Reign of Dialogue" program.
AmCham announced that certificates of appreciation were presented to the president of the AmCham Committee for Health, Jelena Milošević Sekulić, and to the general director of the Directorate for Infrastructure, Information Security, Digitization and e-Services in the Ministry of Public Administration, Dušan Polović.
At the Gala dinner, as they stated, a valuable donation was also presented for the purchase of neurofeedback equipment for the Day Center for children and youth with developmental disabilities from Tivat.
Rajnke emphasized the importance of partnership between the public and private sectors for creating an attractive business climate, which opens up new economic opportunities, innovation and entrepreneurship.
"A good partnership between companies and the Government encourages investments and creates quality jobs", added Rajnke, emphasizing that AmCham plays a key role in connecting the two parties, while also including American companies in that partnership.
AmCham, as the largest renowned international business community in Montenegro, strives to improve the business environment in the country with its activities.
In this sense, as the President of the Chamber Svetlana Vuksanović emphasized, the focus is on creating unique opportunities and establishing a system based on the rule of law, transparency, equality and fair market competition.
"The goal of the 'Reign of Dialogue' program is that together, in a team spirit, we communicate and cooperate in a timely manner and continuously to overcome business barriers and create a business environment that will retain existing and attract new renowned companies, primarily from the United States of America and the European Union (EU) , to do business in Montenegro," stated Vuksanović.
The Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Policy and Minister of Economic Development, Nik Đeljošaj, pointed out that the economic model must change, "but also ourselves", as well as the approach to work.
On that path, as he said, AmCham has the support of decision makers.
Đeljošaj said that he sees the biggest role of the Chamber, which was formed with the basic goal of making business in Montenegro better, improving the business environment and making the country more competitive and prosperous, as well as helping on the way to the EU.
"We have the same vision, we have the same mission, we just have to achieve the set goals, and we can only do that if we work together. That's why I assure you that you will have the full support of the Government of Montenegro in your activities," said Đeljošaj.
As announced, socially responsible business is one of the pillars of AmCham and a value it has been nurturing for 15 years.
It is stated that member companies participated in the donor initiative this year - CKB banka, Coca Cola HBC, NLB banka, Neregelia, Adriatic Marines, Comtrade, Erste banka, Sava osiguranje, Golden Group, BDK advokati, Addiko banka, Radonjic i partners, G3 Spirits, Tara Resources, Axians, Strategist and Butterlfy Finance.
The director of the Day Center from Tivat, Srđan Krunić, said that this valuable donation is a great wind in the back for the institution headed by him.
"One of the most significant donations to the Day Center is this donation from AmCham, the purchase of neurofeedback equipment that will greatly improve the work with our users," said Krunić.
As he said, the donation, whose goal is to improve their work, proves that AmCham behaves socially and responsibly towards the community and very successfully recognizes the needs of the children, that is, the institution.
