The financial report of Posta for nine months with a profit of 733 thousand euros was not realistically presented, said a member of the Board of Directors of Posta. Stojan Sjekloć.
He stated in a statement submitted to "Vijesti" that from the announcement of the management of the Post Office, from the 64th session of the Board of Directors, one could get an impression of the well-being of this company.
"With a few crucial facts, it will show a more realistic picture of the situation. First of all, only the revenue, or rather the invoiced balance, is presented in the announcement. It does not mention the loan of 1.868.755,22 euros that the Post has borrowed, and whose repayment from the middle of next year will exceed 32.000 per month. We will talk about the justification, the way of spending and the effects of that loan. Also, the announcement emphasizes that '...the profit was made at a time of rising prices... which increased costs'. But the fact that the Post Office has also significantly increased its services at the express request of the top management is kept silent. I'm not sure that some '...special dedication to work' is needed to increase prices. Unfortunately, the statement that "the net cost of the universal service for the last year in the amount of 344.000 euros was realized due to the professional and dedicated relationship of the management", said Sjekloća.
He stated that the decision of the Agency for Electronic Communications and Postal Activities from November 30 is denied by the management of the Post Office, because 70.517,50 euros were collected from the universal service, and unlike 273.909, the Post Office is referred to the Ministry of Finance to which it already owes.
"The top management of the Post Office sent a request to the Agency for the amount of 901.241,95 euros for this service. When he was not satisfied, in accordance with the old practice, he sued the Agency, from which he regularly loses court cases. They are hiring a law firm from Tivat, whether they will help remains to be seen, in addition to the already existing one from Podgorica and the legal service of the Post Office", said Sjekloća.
He states that the quality of modernization and adaptation of buildings is best seen when it rains.
"Top managers have a special affinity for painting and painting works, fabulously expensive 'closets', procurement of office supplies (preferably without a public tender), fuel consumption, spare parts, summer and winter tires...", said Sjekloća.
He said that the statement in the announcement about the construction of a new postal logistics center should probably "emphasize the bright future of the Post".
"For the sake of the public, the Board of Directors included that center in the plan for 2021 as a priority in 2022. So, it took two years for the top management to apply for the location. With that dynamic, it will take five more for the foundation stone, and 15 for the ribbon cutting," said Sjekloća.
He says that in his "praise announcement" the management could also boast of the increase in salary costs from 8,5 to 9,15 million as a result of enormous employment.
"By being visibly delighted with the nine-month financial 'success', the top management led by the CEO is best denying themselves, because during the workers' strike from October 2 to 10 they explicitly claimed that a 30% wage increase (for employees with a coefficient of up to 5) would mean bankruptcy Post office. To make the paradox even bigger, in the end, a more expensive variant was agreed upon. An increase of 100 euros (about 20%), but for everyone. Some strange logic, which can lead the Post to a loss, when elaborate announcements will not help", said Sjekloća.
