The Executive Board of the Trade Union Organization of the Directorate for Inspection Affairs addressed in writing to Prime Minister Milojko Spajić, Minister of Finance Novica Vuković, Minister of Public Administration Maraš Dukaj and Director of the Human Resources Directorate Agron Camaje, claiming that the Director of the UIP Ana Vujošević acted illegally in connection with the Draft Rulebook. on the internal organization and systematization of workplaces.
"On Thursday, December 28, an extraordinary electronic session of the SOUIP Executive Board was held, where we decided to, among others, inform Prime Minister Milojko Spajić about the director's illegal actions. Namely, we are aware of the fact that the director, without the participation of the Management Union for inspection affairs, adopted a proposal for the Rulebook on the internal organization and systematization of workplaces and submitted it to the competent authorities, which we believe is contrary to the law," said the Executive Board of the UIP Trade Union.
As they point out, the proposed Rulebook envisages significant changes in the organization of the Administration, including changes in the name of the sector, merger of departments, and other changes that they consider illegal and unacceptable.
They said that the director did not inform the union about these changes, "which is contrary to the provisions of the Labor Law".
"The UIP trade union has asked the authorities, as well as the Prime Minister, to return the Draft Rulebook to the Directorate for Inspection Affairs, in order to enable the involvement of the Trade Union's representatives in its drafting, in accordance with the law. Otherwise, the Trade Union will initiate proceedings with the competent court for protection the rights of its members from work and on the basis of work, in accordance with Article 193 paragraph 3 of the Labor Law," the statement added.
The union says that "disrespect for trade union rights and lack of transparency in decision-making by the director is unacceptable", and said that they will take all necessary steps to protect the interests of employees and "ensure compliance with the law".
The Executive Committee of the Trade Union of the Directorate for Inspection Affairs appeals to the Prime Minister and competent authorities to "carefully consider these allegations and take appropriate steps in order to preserve the legality and integrity of the work of the Directorate for Inspection Affairs".
"Thanks to the support of the branch Trade Union of the Administration of Montenegro, the UIP Trade Union feels encouraged in its efforts to protect the rights of employees and to oppose illegalities in the work of the Administration for Inspection Affairs, all with the aim of preserving justice and respecting the law," the announcement concludes.
