Minister of Energy and Mining Saša Mujović will meet with representatives of the companies Duferco and Trasteel, which have expressed interest in Nikšić's Željezara, the ministry announced.
On Tuesday, he will visit EPCG-Željezara Nikšić and EPCG Solar construction.
"Minister Mujović continues intensive activities to find a strategic partner for Željezara EPCG Nikšić with a meeting with representatives of the company Duferco who expressed interest in Željezara from Nikšić. Although the public invitation to lease the steel plant and forge was announced by Elektroprivreda Montenegro, Minister Mujović initiated significant diplomatic activity so that all potential investors would be aware of the public call, which led to a large response from interested investors, among others the Israeli company Trasteel, with whom Minister Mujović will also meet on Wednesday, in order to present all the potential of this company," it is stated in announcement.
They said that, apart from Željezara, the focus of Mujović's work is also EPCG Solar construction, "as a company with accumulated problems".
"In order to bring this company with a realistic perspective to an optimal level that guarantees survival and development on economically sustainable principles, Minister Mujović will also talk with the executive director Valerija Saveljić," it added.
After the meetings, Mujović will give a statement to the media at 14.30:XNUMX p.m., in the EPCG-Zeljezara Nikšić premises.
