At the constitutive session of the new "Air Montenegro" Board of Directors, Tihomir Dragaš was elected president, Air Montenegro announced.
The first part of the session, which was held today, was attended by the Minister of Transport and Maritime Affairs of Montenegro, Filip Radulović, as well as members of the Board of Directors and management of the airline.
As stated, Radulović expressed his satisfaction with the personal and professional composition of the new Board of Directors, believing that the members will make a significant contribution to the further development of the company and the branding of Montenegro as a destination of great potential.
"The expectations of the Government of Montenegro, as well as mine, is that you put your professional capacities at the service of "Air Montenegro", citizens, tourists and the entire economy. I believe in your competences and expect numerous proposals and solutions for the challenges that lie ahead of us", pointed out Radulović.
"By unanimous decision of the members of the Board of Directors, Tihomir Dragaš was elected president, and the other members of the Board are Vukadin Stojanović, Mitar Šušić, Aleksandra Gardašević Slavuljica and Danilo Popović," it added.
"Through the presented portfolio of the company, numerous operational and organizational issues were already discussed at the first session, as well as projections related to the fleet, commercial plans, financial parameters and more. The dynamics of the work of the Board of Directors were determined, with a unanimous determination that the work intensifies, all with the aim of creating future solutions that will contribute to a better positioning of the company on the demanding aviation market," the announcement reads.
"It was concluded that "Air Montenegro" has a significant role in encouraging the development of tourism, as well as the overall economic dynamics of the country, so the new convocation of the Board of Directors will act in this sense. This implies intensive cooperation with the line ministry, company management and employees, as well as numerous international partners," it concludes.
