Miodrag Đuranović, a member of the Presidency of the Civic Movement URA, assessed that limiting trade margins and introducing a working week in shops "would be disastrous".
"The idea of the return of the working week has a major impact on the families of all workers in stores who, finally, in recent years, manage to get together on Sundays and spend the day together. Without an agreement with the representatives of employees in the store and employers, arbitrarily, as if copying from the long-standing head of state and DPS, thinking that the state is his back. Until yesterday, they loudly fought against it, but now some higher interests have turned them against the workers, of whom there are tens of thousands in the shops," Đuranović announced.
He also points out that the idea of limiting trade margins represents a direct interference with the principles of the market economy, "determining margins on hundreds, and in the case of larger companies, thousands of items that will endanger many people's business".
"Especially small and medium-sized traders will be threatened, and if they look at the balance sheets, as exceptional economists, Spajić and Krvavac will see that the profit of system markets is 2,8 percent of revenue, which means that if the proposed measures reduce the margin by 3 percent, and that is more than realistic, employers will be unprofitable and not that they will not have profit, and the state will not be able to service their obligations. ??? Is it possible that we are not interested in the opinion of the big employers who hire, pay salaries and pay taxes and contributions for thousands and thousands of workers? Why haven't the most powerful countries in Europe, Germany, Switzerland, France, done this? Because they don't have geniuses like we have, which in this way can close many companies in Montenegro for a short period of time. Why not sit down with them at the table and agree on the best model, with which citizens would be satisfied, and businessmen's business would not be endangered? We are a highly importing country and we cannot influence the huge number of products we import," says Đukanović.
He also asked "what Spajić and the team" are doing to raise domestic production.
"Isn't the goal of this Government to remove as many employees as possible from the cradle of the state by motivating entrepreneurs to start their own businesses and thus by paying taxes and contributions to supplement the budget and help their country? Populist moves that threaten to destroy the economy, liabilities that already existed, and it will be (hiding from the public), every day they show more and more clearly who Milojko Spajić is and what kind of economic expert he is. The false emperor Šćepan Mali came from Singapore to make us miserable, so he will return there without any problems. He is not even earlier, and it seems that even now he does not want to tie his fate to Montenegro, which is why he obviously does not hesitate to lead the country into problems that will cause citizens to suffer for decades", concludes Đuranović.
