Several non-governmental organizations welcomed the decision of the interdepartmental commission, which did not give consent for the opening of the Brskovo mine
"We congratulate the representatives of the state authorities who showed high professionalism and made the only legal decision: that there will be no mine in Mojkovac. We offer our full support to Minister Mujović and the Government of Montenegro to confirm this decision at the next session. The strong message that is being sent is: healthy investments are welcome, investors are welcome who will respect the laws of Montenegro and where the health of the citizens, the environment and the interests of Montenegro will be in the first place," the announcement states.
