The constitutive session of the Council of the Civil Aviation Agency (ACV), where the new acting director of the Agency should be elected, is to be held today, "Vijesti" has learned.
On February 22, the government appointed a new Council consisting of Dženan Kolić (president) and members Velibor Mrdak, Vesko Knežević, Ivana Borović and Jevto Bojović.
Immediately after his appointment, Knežević resigned due to a conflict of interest, and the Government elected Svetlana Roganović to replace him on March 1.
"The previous acting executive director, Mileta Nikolić, has resigned. The new Council should today appoint a new acting director, Ivan Šćekić, who is the director of the Aviation Safety Sector," said the "Vijesti" source.
The competition that was announced in August for the executive director is still open.
