PES: Milatović forgot that he included Drecuna in his campaign

The Europe Now Movement (PES) announced that the President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović, forgot to include Predrag Drecuna in his campaign.

Today, on the occasion of the Government's decision to appoint Drecun to the Board of Directors of the Investment and Development Fund (IRF), Milatović said that the citizens did not vote for the "promotion of such values".

PES states that the President's criticism of the Government's policy has not abated since it was formed.

It is interesting, they add, that Milatović did not register "absolutely nothing" positive in the work of the current government, which has "given the best results so far".

"The public waited for the president to criticize the appointment of Predrag Drecun, who was active in all election campaigns at the invitation of the then PES official, including both rounds of the presidential elections. Obviously, Milatović has a selective memory, forgetting that in joint celebrations of his election victories the values ​​of Drecun were not a problem," PES announced.

They also say that Milatović "misled hundreds of citizens" who were invited to apply for advisory positions in the president's cabinet through a public call. In the end, as they said, he "used his discretionary right and thus broke his publicly stated promise".

"Nevertheless, we hope that Milatović is aware of how much effort all his colleagues from PES put in to become the president of the country, to whom he turned his back as soon as he took the presidential chair. And such an act would not have been perceived negatively, if he had not taken an active role obstruction of the work of his former party, which these days also manifests itself in the dysfunctionality of the Podgorica parliament," concludes PES.
