Owned by the company "BB Hydro". Blaž Đukanović, the son of the former president of the country Milo Đukanović, and his business partner Ivan Burzanović, last year it earned 402 thousand euros from the operation of a mini hydroelectric power plant, while the net profit was 178 thousand euros.
This company owns a small hydropower plant (MHP) "Bistrica" in Kolašin, the license for which was signed by Blaž's father, the Prime Minister at the time, Milo Đukanović.
At the beginning of last year, "BB Hidro" left the incentive system, that is, last year it did not receive subsidies for renewable sources from consumers and the state, but instead sold its electricity on the stock exchange.
In 2022, the group of producers of electricity from renewable sources began to exit the incentive system, because the price of electricity on the stock exchange was significantly higher than the previously agreed purchase price of electricity with Elektroprivreda and additional subsidies.
So, from the sale of electricity on the stock exchange at higher prices, but also from better hydrology, last year this company earned 402 thousand euros, while the total income in 2022 was 280 thousand.
The net profit of the company in 2022 was 25,8 thousand euros, and last year it was 178 thousand euros, which is a seven times better result. For the 50 percent share in ownership, the younger Đukanović has a net profit of 89 thousand euros from this company.
In 2018, the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption ruled that Milo Đukanović was not in a conflict of interest when he signed the concession to his son after his Government had verified the decision, after a report by the non-governmental organization "KOD", because he did not decide whether his son met the conditions he just signed the decision.
The company "BB Hidro" has filed a lawsuit against the state in which it seeks compensation for damages and lost profits, because they were prevented from building their second small hydroelectric power plant (MHP) "Slatina" on the watercourse of that river in Kolašin, even though they were entitled to it based on the concession contract from 2017. an energy permit was issued for it.
During the current legal dispute in the Commercial Court, this company claims that they fulfilled all the obligations defined by the Concession Agreement for the construction of MHP on the river "Slatina" in Kolašin on time. The representative from the office of the Protector of Property and Legal Interests of the State stated during the dispute that the procedure was not respected, that a preliminary design should have been made for "Slatina", based on which urban planning conditions would be issued, and then technical as well as a construction application, as and that the main project had to be done for her and revised.
