The Bar company "Putevi Bar" will do the reconstruction of the Martinić road worth 5,41 million euros, and they signed the contract with the Municipality of Danilovgrad on March 26.
The deadline for the completion of the works on this 8,6 kilometer long section Pažići-Spuž-Stologlav will be seven months from their start.
This local self-government told "Vijesta" that all prerequisites for the start of the works have been met, which they expect in a few weeks. They pointed out that the Kotor company "Briv Construction" and the Bar company "Ekvidistanca" will be engaged as subcontractors for the reconstruction, while the expert supervision will be chosen from among the six received offers.
"The contractor committed to the contract to carry out the works on the reconstruction of the Pažići-Spuž-Stologlav road for a total price of EUR 5.417.326,05 including VAT", announced the Municipality of Danilovgrad and pointed out that this issue will be among their priorities until completion of the reconstruction.
The initial project for this section was done in 2018, while the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) was in power in Danilovgrad, and its beginning was made official during the summer of 2020, when the then Prime Minister Duško Marković and the then President of the Municipality Zorica Kovačević toured the section. The local government was replaced at the end of 2022 by the coalition of the Europe Now Movement, the Democrats, the Democratic Front and GP URA.
The municipality there previously told "Vijesti" that numerous irregularities were observed in the project commissioned by the previous administration, among them a lack of railroad crossings, bridge leveling, missing sidewalks and bus stops... They added that because of these technical deficiencies, a new one was made a project that includes everything, and it was done by the company "SIMM inženjering".
They pointed out that the new project supplemented the shortcomings of the previous one, provided for sidewalks along the entire length of the section on the left side, on the stretch of the General Urban Development (GUR) Spuž on both sides, as well as bus stops, loggias for containers, and that the issue was more thoroughly resolved drains water. The creation of this project was paid 26,25 thousand euros. The revision of the project was contracted in August 2023 with the company "Vigoris ecotech", which cost 5,44 thousand euros. They also stated that the company "Gradnja promet" was initially selected as the contractor, but that the contract with it was terminated by agreement.
The tender for reconstruction was announced on December 6 last year, but there were no registered companies. The new tender was announced on January 17, ended at the end of February, and "Putevi Bar" was selected as the most favorable contractor.
