The market inspection continued the increased control of facilities that operate illegally, where it fined 19 business facilities that did not have a trade and crafts report in the amount of 16,65 thousand euros.
In the period from April 1 to 5, the market inspection performed increased surveillance in the territory of Podgorica, Zeta, Tuza and Danilograd, with a special emphasis on the control of trade and craft registrations, and keeping records on the purchase and sale of goods.
"Supervisions were focused on entities that operate outside the city zones, i.e. in industrial zones and rural areas, where in the previous period a significant number of entities operating in the so-called gray zone was noticed," the announcement states.
As a result of increased surveillance, it was determined that 19 business establishments did not have a trade and crafts report, which is why the inspectors ordered to eliminate the identified irregularities and issued misdemeanor orders in the amount of 16,65 thousand euros. Three subjects of supervision did not keep records on the purchase and sale of goods, in accordance with the law, which is why misdemeanor orders in the amount of 3,6 thousand euros were issued.
"In the mentioned municipalities, in the previous months, since the appointment of the new head of the market inspection, it was determined that as many as 44 subjects of supervision were selling goods or providing services without trade registration, i.e. trade registration, while an additional ten of them did not keep records on procurement and the sale of goods, which is why measures were taken against them in order to eliminate the aforementioned irregularities," the announcement states.
The market inspection will, as it is concluded, continue with activities to suppress illegal business in the entire territory of Montenegro, so that all economic entities operate in accordance with valid regulations and under equal conditions.
