The debt of 3,8 million euros that the company "Cijevna commerce" had to the Investment and Development Fund (IRF) and whose collection is disputed in the Commercial Court, was reduced by another 420.000 euros after part of the mortgage of this private company was sold. In addition, there is an offer to sell another part of this company's assets, but the debt of "Cijevna" will not be fully paid even then.
This was said at the hearing in this court yesterday by IRF lawyer Dimitrije Šaranović. He explained that EUR 420 was paid to the IRF account after public bailiff Vladimir Vujotić sold the mortgages. The total debt of "Cijevna commerce" was about 3,8 million euros, and at the beginning of 2024 it was reduced by 1,9 million, after Vujotić sold part of the mortgage.
At the end of May last year, the IRF initiated a dispute in the Commercial Court against the company "Cijevna Commerce", which is owned by the family of businessman Danilo Petrović, in order to collect loans from the property of this company that were not returned to the fund. Loans were given to other companies owned by this businessman's family, namely the companies "Cijevna komerc" and "Montenegro premier". As the IRF previously told "Vijesta", the pledged movables - vehicles, were issued as one of the collaterals for the loans given to these two companies, and the execution procedure was initiated after the termination of the loan agreement and the maturity of all the obligations of the companies.
On the announcement that another part of the debt could be collected, the lawyer of "Cijevna" Danica Radulović stated that they believe that there are no conditions to determine the execution because this would cause damage to that company. She stated that the IRF does not suffer any damage because they expect a settlement in two proceedings with the executor Vujotić. Šaranović emphasized that the conditions have been met to end the dispute by confiscating the movable property of "Cijevna Commerce", as well as to suffer damage because the money is not in the hands of the IRF.
