He said this on the occasion of the announcement of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management (MAŠV), in which they stated that Iković's allegations about the short deadline for applying to the Public Call for Ministry of Agriculture and Water Management and bias in the selection process are incorrect and based on wrong assumptions.
Iković, as stated in the press release of Preokret's media team, said that he expected the reaction of the Ministry to be acceptance of responsibility and an extension of the deadline, "but the Ministry of Agriculture does not want to extend the call for the procurement of mechanization for agricultural production. This policy is the continuation of the creation of agriculture accordingly the interests of the party, and not with the aim of making the producers independent, because the country is rich if its farmers are rich. The results of this work were shown last year when, during the same administration, Montenegro had more food imports than total exports, i.e. more than two million euros of food. daily."
"The decision to keep the public invitation fixed is solely the decision of Minister Vladimir Joković. That is why the minister should bear responsibility. Since the minister cannot understand that he has damaged farmers and the state, then the prime minister who allowed the worst host to lead the department dealing with food production," said Ikovic.
According to him, the Ministry responded by only confirming that the deadlines were short "with the meaningless argument that limited funds were available, which again indicates that those close to the government are favored."
"This government still has a chance to prevent a decade-long repetition of mistakes, but only if before that the ministers decide to apply the laws of the state and not the hidden agendas of the parties," concluded Iković.
