The Council of the Civil Aviation Agency (ACV) elected this week as the director of that institution Ivan Šćekić, "Vijesti" learned from several sources.
Until now, Šćekić held the position of Acting Director of the Agency.
"Minister of Transport and Maritime Affairs Filip Radulović gave his consent to the decision of the Council", it was officially confirmed to "Vijesti" in this Government department.
On April 24, CAA announced a public competition for the director of that institution for a full term of four years, which was open for 15 days.
On April 19, the new CAA Board made a decision to announce a competition for the election of directors.
On February 22, the Government appointed a new Council in composition Dženan Kolic (president) and members Velibor Mrdak, Vesko Knezevic, Ivana Borović i Jevto Bojović. Immediately after his appointment, Knežević resigned due to a conflict of interest, and the Government elected to replace him Svetlana Roganović March 1.
At the constitutive session, the new CAA Council canceled the competition from August last year for the election of directors, which was announced last year. At the same session, Ivan Šćekić was elected as the new Acting Executive Director, who was the Director of the Air Navigation Safety Sector in ACV.
Šćekić reported to the Agency for Prevention of Corruption as acting director his basic salary in March of 3.959,92 euros, as well as additional income in the Agency of 972 euros (March) and 1.053 euros (April). He also reported that he earned 342,98 in March as a member of the Government's National Airspace Management Board.
