The Administration and Justice Trade Union, which formally separated from the Union of Trade Unions at the end of last year, published a letter to the president of the Chamber of Commerce on its website. Nina Drakic from two days ago, in which they call on representatives of the economy to stop paying compensation for employees' vacation and recreation to the account of "Rekra" due to the alleged misuse of that money.
The founder of "Rekra" is the Union of Trade Unions, from which they previously repeatedly denied that there were any abuses.
"For years we have been trying to deal with illegal and self-interested work in the Union of Trade Unions, and for this reason we entered into serious confrontations with that organization that even went as far as criminal charges against the leader of the Union and the entire management of 'Rekra', a company owned by the Union . The big problem related to the Chamber of Commerce is precisely the Federation's Fund for Rest, Rehabilitation and Spa Treatments, which is technically managed by 'Rekra' and technically distributes the money paid by employers to the hotels and spas with which they enter into contracts," stated the letter signed by the president of this union Nenad Rakočević.
This fund, as well as others at the Union of Free Trade Unions, function on the basis of the General Collective Agreement, which defines that the employer pays a contribution for rest and recreation of 0,2 percent of the gross salary to the union fund to which the employees belong.
"During 2023, employers paid over two million euros into the mentioned Fund ('Rekra'), which is a very serious sum. About 25 to 30 percent of this large amount is made up of payments by business entities whose workers are not allocated places for rest and rehabilitation, but are treated as unassigned, because according to their explanation, they cannot find their addresses and contacts. That number of legal, i.e. economic entities exceeds two thousand, and the amount of funds annually ranges from 500 to 700 thousand euros. From that money, the Federation of Trade Unions bought a plot of land on the coast where it plans to build a hotel, then huge salaries and compensations are distributed to the management, employees of Rekra and the Board of Directors. The director, for example, has, according to unofficial information, a salary of three thousand euros, because they will not give official information. Then, the Association regularly borrowed money from that Fund, and the rest is distributed to the trade unions as free seats", stated Rakočević in the letter.
He says that "Rekra" should return the money to employers whose workers do not use places for rest and rehabilitation, and not keep it and use it for other purposes.
He also states that the same businessmen also pay membership fees for their employees to the SSCG without grounds.
"That amount is also around 25 to 30% of the total membership fee of the Association, it is easy to conclude that it is a huge amount of money. Classic deception on two grounds according to members of the Chamber of Commerce", said Rakočević.

Rakočević asks Drakić to present the letter to members of the Chamber of Commerce, stating that they expect this problem to be processed by the competent judicial authorities soon.
"We are asking you, honorable president, to react as soon as possible and inform your membership of this information, because we will very soon, in the very beginning, most likely through the press, announce these perennial deceptions and abuses. You must also know that for a short time I was on the Board of Directors of 'Rekra', I asked that these and many other frauds be eliminated, and that in that context I filed criminal charges with the old Special State Prosecutor's Office (SDT), which is somewhere now in archives. Shortly after that, I was expelled from the Board of Directors, because I did not fit into this system," said Rakočević.
