The Management Board of the Employment Institute of Montenegro (UO ZZZ MN), which was chaired by Aleksandar Šipčić, adopted decisions on the financing of three programs intended for the unemployed from the records, in the amount of 1,8 million euros, it was announced from the Board of ZZZ Montenegro.
"The board of directors adopted a decision on the allocation of grants in the amount of one million euros to finance 21 projects for the employment of persons with disabilities. Through these projects, 174 persons with disabilities from the unemployment register will be included, of which 117 persons will be employed during the duration of the project, and 45 persons after the completion of the project, for a period of at least nine months," the announcement states.
The Management Board of ZZZ Montenegro said that the program "Training for independent work", which was approved in the amount of 705.542,94 euros, will support the employment of 207 unemployed people.
Of that, as they say, 72 will be employed by 14 employers from the public sector, and 135 by 66 employers from the private sector.
They add that through the program, the participants will gain work experience and improve the knowledge and skills needed to perform tasks independently in accordance with the acquired level of education, and employers will provide the necessary workforce.
"The board of directors also adopted the 'Incentives for employment' program in the amount of 99.980,32 euros, which will enable the employment of 22 persons from the records of the Employment Service at 14 employers, for a period of at least 12 months. The aim of this program is to encourage employers to employ people from the unemployment register with significant difficulties in finding work, who, due to the insufficient and inadequate offer of jobs for which they possess the required knowledge, skills and competences, belong to the category of long-term unemployed persons and other less employable persons provision of the missing labor force for the performance of jobs that can be sustainable even after the end of the subsidy for eight months, and which the employer can achieve for the same unemployed person, only on one basis for the same period," the announcement states.
By implementing these programs, as they say, the Employment Institute of Montenegro continues to achieve key goals in the field of active employment policy - encouraging employment, improving the competencies of unemployed persons and improving cooperation with employers, in accordance with the Law on Employment Mediation and Rights During Unemployment.
