The Acting Director of the Forest and Hunting Management Administration, Miloš Rajković, replaced the head of the Regional Unit Andrijevic today.
As it was announced, this was done "due to numerous omissions in work in the previous period".
The statement did not mention the name of the manager who was dismissed by Rajković, and the website of the Administration states that the manager of the unit in Andrijevica was Predrag Veljić, a forestry engineer.
"Namely, through the analysis of business activities, work failures, major irregularities and prolonged duration of poor work and business results of this regional unit were noted. Also, one of the reasons for the dismissal is the unjustified bringing into a negative context the management of the Management of Forests and Hunting Grounds during the local elections. in Andrijevica, which is why it was necessary to react," the Administration announced.
Rajković said that "exclusively work, discipline and responsibility" must be the basis in every regional unit of the Administration, as well as the achievement of "concrete and visible results, not politics and election campaigns".
"The administration and its management will strive to create a high-quality and strong team of people in each regional unit that delivers measurable results and works for the benefit of Montenegrin forests, while not absolving anyone of responsibility and not tolerating anyone's inaction," the announcement concludes.
